PROPERTY PHOTO EDITING GUIDE
A few simple decisions before you upload can make a property gallery easier to edit consistently. You do not need specialist equipment or a complicated brief.
BEFORE YOU SEND FILES
Send the original camera files or the highest-quality copies available rather than screenshots or images downloaded from a listing portal. If an image is heavily compressed, blurred or missing important detail, editing may not be able to restore what is no longer there.
Include the views that explain the property clearly. Send the photos you want edited, even if they were taken at different times or with different cameras.
Upload original JPG, HEIC, RAW or other available source files when possible. Avoid resaving the same image repeatedly before submission.
Give each property a name that makes sense to you. Separate properties make it easier to keep their files, messages and finished images together.
Tell us whether you prefer a natural, brighter or more polished look, and point out any specific changes you want. A reference image is useful but optional.

A CLEAR BRIEF
You can keep it short: describe the look you want for the listing and mention any image-specific requests. For example, “keep the interiors natural and consistent; brighten the living room; remove the parked car from the exterior.”
If a detail must remain unchanged, mention that too. Send your preferences before editing begins whenever possible; this helps the first delivery match your expectations. One round of revisions is included.
For substantial visual changes, consider how the final image will be used and whether it accurately represents the property to your audience.
